Side effects
- Hematopoietic system: infrequently – leucopenia.
- Immune system: frequency unknown – anaphylactic reactions.
- Metabolism: very often – hypercholesterolaemia; often – anorexia, increased appetite.
- Mental disorders: often – depression; infrequently – anxiety (including nervousness), irritability.
Nervous system: often – headache, dizziness; infrequently – drowsiness, insomnia, memory impairment, sensory disturbances (including paresthesia, hypoesthesia), taste perception disorders, episodes of cerebral circulation disorders, carpal tunnel syndrome.
- Visual organs: infrequently – cataract, eye irritation, “blurred” vision.
Cardiovascular system: very often – attack-like sensations of heat (“flushes”); often – increased BP; infrequently – palpitations, tachycardia, IHD (including newly diagnosed or worsening course of existing angina pectoris, angina requiring surgical intervention, myocardial infarction, myocardial ischaemia), thrombophlebitis (including thrombophlebitis of superficial and deep veins); rarely – pulmonary embolism, arterial thrombosis, stroke, ischaemic attack.
Respiratory system: infrequently – dyspnoea, cough.
- Digestive system: frequently – nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, constipation, diarrhoea, abdominal pain; infrequently – stomatitis, dry mouth.
- Liver and biliary tract: infrequently – increased activity of hepatic enzymes; very rarely – hepatitis.
Skin and subcutaneous tissues: very often – increased sweating; often – alopecia, dry skin, rash (including. erythematous, maculo-papular, psoriasiform and vesicular); infrequently – itching, urticaria; frequency unknown – angioedema, Lyell’s syndrome (toxic epidermal necrolysis), Stevens-Johnson syndrome (malignant erythema multiforme exudative).
- Musculoskeletal system: very often – arthralgia; often – myalgia, bone pain, osteoporosis, bone fractures; infrequently – arthritis; frequency unknown – snapping finger syndrome.
- Urinary system: infrequently – increased urination, urinary tract infections.
Genital organs and mammary glands: often – vaginal bleeding; infrequently – vaginal discharge, vaginal dryness, pain in mammary glands.
- General disorders: very often – increased fatigue (including asthenia and discomfort); often – peripheral edema; infrequently – generalised oedema, dry mucous membranes, thirst, fever, weight gain; infrequently – benign, malignant and unspecified neoplasms (including cysts and polyps), pain in the tumour area, weight loss.
